- Policy Leadership and Advocacy: FECCA’s contributions to the Multicultural Framework Review and National Anti-Racism Framework have strengthened multicultural policy infrastructure. Through these initiatives, FECCA promoted equity, inclusion, and reform in Australia’s migration system, introducing principles focused on fairness, accessibility, and a unified multicultural approach.
- Health and Well-Being Initiatives: The establishment of the Australian Multicultural Health Collaborative and expanded COVID-19 outreach efforts connected over 120 language communities with health information. The Embrace Multicultural Mental Health Project provided culturally responsive mental health resources, empowering community leaders to offer support and enhance access to services.
- Support for Aged Care Services and Community Empowerment: FECCA’s EnCOMPASS Multicultural Aged Care Connectors Program supported over 9,000 seniors in navigating aged care services, fostering trust and accessibility. Additionally, FECCA’s advocacy in disaster resilience and employment barriers for multicultural Australians strengthened community support and equitable service access.
