FECCA welcomed the opportunity to comment on the Combatting Antisemitism, Hate and Extremism Bill 2026, last week.

Our position is grounded in principles articulated in FECCA’s previous submissions, including our Submission to the Multicultural Framework Review, which emphasises a human-rights-based approach, inclusion, meaningful community engagement, strong social cohesion, and protection from racism and discrimination as mutually reinforcing objectives.
