Annual Report 2025–2026

The Federation of Ethnic Communities’ Councils of Australia (FECCA) is the national peak body representing multicultural people, communities and organisations across Australia. Through our state, territory and regional council members, we represent more than 1,500 community organisations, their members and communities.

Our policy and advocacy work is guided by a commitment to equity, dignity and inclusion. As a trusted adviser and partner to government, civil society and communities, we advocate for evidence-based policy and systemic reform that reflect the lived experiences of a contemporary multicultural Australia.

As FECCA approaches 50 years of advocating for multicultural Australia, we continue to work alongside culturally and linguistically diverse communities, the broader Australian society and
government to build a strong, prosperous and inclusive nation. Drawing on the lived experiences of people who have migrated to Australia and their descendants, and the expertise of our diverse national membership, we develop and promote inclusive, innovative and responsible public policy.
